For Once, I Hope I Am Wrong

So we've reached a time in history in the Middle East... of revolutionary change in government.  It all started with Egypt.  From my understanding, that coup started with of all things a Facebook page.  Now Egypt is not what worries me, it's the other countries and their leaders.  I know in poker, when I sense weakness, I attack.  I just read that Iranian warships are entering the Suez Canal under objection of the Israeli government.  This exercise really troubles me.

I remember one thing about Armageddon and what I've learned of it through my various Sunday school classes and other resources, it starts in the Middle East.  It's no secret the troubles the Israelis and the Middle Eastern countries have, and it's rooted in religion.  Much blood has been shed and will be shed, but I hope there is peace.

Another thing that troubles me is the 2012 theory.  There was just an earthquake in New Zealand.  Now that in itself wouldn't bother me as a whole, but there have been an alarming number of natural disasters that have occured up to this date, not to mention the weird weather patterns.   Floods, tsunami's, other earthquakes in China... it's kinda freakin' me out.

2012 is still less than 2 years away, I hope it's the opposite of what I'm thinking or just nothing at all.  Maybe in 2012, a new element will be discovered and all diseases and hardships will be cured with it.

I hope.

Untitled Poem by Newman

Her bouquet cleaved his hardened shell
And fondled his muscled heart
He imbibed her glistening spell
Just before the other shoe
Fell

"The Rogue's Wallet" by Mr. Peterman

"The Rogue's Wallet. That's where he kept his card, his dirty little secret. Short, devious, balding. His name was Costanza. He killed my mother."
