| FUCK TCF BANK |
So I had....a TCF account. It was the Totally Free Checking Account. NO FEES. Then in 2010, they decided that they weren't going to offer this anymore. They claim to have sent me a letter informing me of the change. I never recieved or read any letter. Then started charging me fees on my $50 balance. I didn't use this account, but knew I had money. Needless to say, my account eventually went under 0, then surprise, $35 in overdraft fees. I ended up owing $50 to close my account.
Now the problem I have is, I should have to sign to agree to any changes, especially ADDED fees, or have my account automatically closed and my balance refunded to me. This is my gripe Mr. President. My default answer should be NO, not YES.
NOTES: I was paperless, trying to be green. TCF is headquartered in Minnesota.
